Page 1 panel 1. The title To Sit floats above an empty desert. We see a small figure sitting on the ground in the distance. Panel 2 we zoom in on the figure. We can see they are hunched forwarded with their legs splayed. Panel 3. We zoom in closer the figure hasnt moved but we can not see they have mohawk hair style and appear to be nude like a Barbie doll. Panel 4. The character pops awake. Panel 5. We have zoomed on the characters face. A caption card appears that names the character Curio. Page 2 panel 6. It is a wide panel with Curio still siting motionless. A new character wearing a long sleeve shirt and a mask with a bell symbol on the forehead has appeared. A caption card appear next to them and says The Orator. The Orator gestures towards Curio and address the reader directly saying Welcome beloved reader. Seated before you is our protagonist. A curious character with no history that we know of. Panel 7. The Orator continues Did they just now blink into existence for our narrative or perhaps they have always existed? Panel 8. The Orator moves to the right of Curio and point backward to a new figure out in the distance and says Instead direct your attention to this figure that the sharp eyed among you saw in the distance from the previous page. This player will become important in the near narrative future.
