Work Inquiries

Publishers and Orgs

My first commitment is to my IT day job because it pays the bills and provides health insurance. Any work opportunities would either need to be accommodating to my day job, and my other obligations, or be more lucrative than my day job's salary and benefits. I'm assuming most opportunities won't be lucrative. My expectations is that they'll be accommodating.

I'm not against work for hire assuming schedules and day job accommodations are met. I hit deadlines and follow regularly scheduled meetings/communications. For information about my work history check my about page.

Work that I'm open to but not necessarily limited to:

  • Short comic (2 to 8 pages) contributions for things like anthologies, backup in single issues, or any kind of one-offs.
  • Commissions of new comic strips for print or web publications. This includes doing guest strips.
  • Contributing any of my existing comics to new publications (assuming the comics in question are not tied up in exclusivity deals or the like).
  • Inquiries about publishing any of my existing work.
  • Working on a team as an inker or letterer assuming schedules permits.
  • Illustrations for books, comics, and magazines.

Work that I'm not open to:

  • Long term or multi year projects.
  • In person work such as murals, installations or speaking/teaching engagements.
  • Work that requires physical media deliverables. I'm not mailing or handing off anything in person at this time.
  • Nothing AI or NFT related or adjacent.

If you are still interested after all that please visit my contact page.

Yes I acknowledge I'm asking potential employers to visit multiple pages but this is a method to filter out insincere inquiries and low effort scammers.

Commissions

At this time I'm not taking individual or private commissions (such as drawing people's OCs, RPG characters, or fan art requests). If that changes I'll post about it on social media.

I'm willing to entertain an offer from high paying clients but there are plenty of other and better artists who could benefit from paid work before me. Please consider them. You are welcome make an inquiry via email but must include an offer/budget.
